#NigeriaDecides2023 – A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa state, Sunny Sylvester Moniedafe, has enjoined aggrieved politicians or parties to go to court to seek redress, if they are not contented with the pronouncement of Bola Tinubu as winner of the presidential election.
This, he said, is to a kind causing uprising and killing innocent citizens.
Sunny, an Adamawa elder statesman, lamented how politicians who are serial failures, will not take defeat as part of the political game and take fate in God.
He revealed that APC, his own party woefully lost in many states and polling units that are strong holds of the party and were cancelled by INEC with no iota of complain from APC.
Sunny who has the experience of losing electives positions, recalled as a party man contested severally and lose without recourse to shifting blames or attacking anyone because he believed that God is the giver of power.
He challenged all those making noise that APC rigged the election to know that all results were signed by the party agents, and anyone is not fine with the result should channel his complain(s) to the election tribunal not to be causing unnecessary tension in the country.
Sunny addressed journalists at his office in Yola and also called the people of Adamawa State to vote for Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) in the forthcoming Governorship elections on February 11th.
He endorsed Binani and told the people of Adamawa that she has the good records that none of the candidates have to win the election.
Sunny who addressed Press men with childhood friends who grew up in Yola, precisely in Clerk’s quarters in Gwadabawa Ward, Yola North Local Government said they have peaceful coexisted together without showing difference to religion or ethnicity.
He therefore called for peaceful and harmonious living with a warning never to allow politicians or politics divide the people of Adamawa along religion lines or ethnic difference.
