Nigerian government has renewed the appointment of the Chief Medical Director of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) Sokoto, Prof. Anas Ahmad Sabir.
The renewal is contained in a letter No. DHS/129/12/12//31 dated 20 April, 2022 and signed by the Minister of Health, Dr. E. Osagie Ehanire.
“I am pleased to inform you that His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the renewal of your appointment as Chief Medical Director (CMD), Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto State for a second and final term of four (4) years with effect from 17h May, 2022.
“This renewal of appointment is on such terms and conditions as provided by the authority establishing the Teaching Hospital, or as may be specified by Government in the future.
“While congratulating you on your reappointment, I urge you to consolidate and improve upon your previous achievements to justify the confidence reposed in you. It is my expectation that you will continue to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that the Hospital continues to deliver quality healthcare services to our people,” the letter reads.
