The collapse of the national grid in Nigeria has thrown most parts of the country in darkness.
This is contained in a terse statement by the spokesperson of Kaduna Electric Distribution Company (KAEDCO), Abdulazeez Abdullahi on Monday.
According to the statement, “the national grid has collapsed, throwing most parts of the country into darkness.
“We regret to inform you that the power outage being experienced in our franchise states is due to system collapse of the national grid which occurred at about 10:40am.”
It however assured that power would “be restored as soon as the National Grid is powered back.”
