Seven national officers of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday, resigned from their positions in the party.
The officials made their decisions known in separate letters addressed to the party’s National Secretary, alleged that they were being sidelined and unfairly treated by the National Chairman, Mr Uche Secondus.
The officials include the National Deputy Publicity Secretary, Diran Odeyemi; Deputy National Organising Secretary, Hassan Yakubu; and the Deputy National Woman Leader, Hadizat Umoru.
This is coming after a former spokesperson of the party’s presidential Campaign, Kasim Afegbua, accused the chairman and the leadership of series of offences, including corruption.
