The Executive Director of IPC, Mr. Lanre Arogundade said, “The death of Titus Badejo is very unfortunate and should be thoroughly investigated. The spate of insecurity in Nigeria is worrisome and calls for immediate action. It is really unfortunate that, journalists have become easy targets and prey to the enemy.”
Report from frontpageng.com in a report revealed that, “when Badejo was leaving Club 407 with his friends in his car around 11: 30p.m, two masked men on a motorcycle suddenly stopped his car, wielding a gun and asked all of them to lie down. He was the only one shot by the gunmen, who left immediately without taking anything or touching the other occupants of the car.”
