A growing wave of public outrage has erupted online after Sandra Duru, who goes by the alias “Professor Mgbeke,” launched a controversial attack on Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The social media personality is facing intense backlash for what many see as a deliberate smear campaign against one of Nigeria’s most admired female leaders.

In a widely criticized video and series of posts, Duru made several unfounded allegations aimed at undermining Senator Natasha’s character. Her comments, quickly flagged by netizens as malicious and misleading, have ignited widespread condemnation across social media platforms.

Supporters of Senator Natasha, who rose to prominence for her grassroots advocacy and tenacity in the face of political opposition, have rallied behind her, praising her calm and composed response. The hashtag #GodOfNatasha has since gone viral, with users expressing solidarity and admiration for the senator’s resilience.

“Even when they come for her with lies, she stands firm with grace. The God of Natasha never sleeps,” one user tweeted, echoing a sentiment shared by thousands.

Sandra Duru’s online history has also come under scrutiny, with critics citing a pattern of inflammatory behavior and personal vendettas. Many now accuse her of exploiting her platform for attention and clout rather than contributing to constructive discourse.

The uproar has spilt into international circles, with some Nigerians in the diaspora tagging U.S. authorities and public figures, including former President Donald Trump, in posts demanding a review of Duru’s immigration status. “Deport her. People who peddle lies to destroy others for sport should not be given sanctuary,” one comment read.

As the dust settles, the incident has rekindled conversations about online accountability, digital ethics, and the dangers of unchecked misinformation. Amid it all, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan continues to rise above the fray—her reputation bolstered, not broken, by the storm.
