Former governor of Sokoto, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa on Sunday condoled his Successor, Senator Aliyu Wamakko on the death of his nephew, Dr Bello Wamakko.
Bafarawa, who was accompanied by his political associates, family members and Aides, was received by Wamakko himself and the Executive Secretary, Police Trust Fund, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, among others.
Special prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased were also offered, led by the Chief Imam of Uthman Bin Affan Jumaat Mosque, Gawon Nama, Sokoto, Sheikh Yahuza Shehu Tambuwal.
In a similar development, a delegation of the Sokoto State Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), led by its Chairman, Dr Umar Mohammed has also condoled Wamakko on the demise of Dr Bello.
Mohammed, who described the deceased as a very committed, loyal and diligent member of the NMA, said that they were rudely shocked by the sad news of his death.
Mohammed also prayed the Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannat firdaus, as well as give the family members the formidable fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Responding, Wamakko commended the NMA members for the invaluable condolence visit.
