Kano state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has said about N6 billion had been set aside to pay gratuities to about 5,500 retired civil servants in the state.

The Oyo state government, under the leadership of Gov. Seyi Makinde in the past four years has paid different tranches of over N7 billion as the backlog of gratuity to retirees in the state.
