The 15 senators, who were led by a former Abia Deputy Governor, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe, handed over their letter of appeal for Kanu’s release to Fagbemi for onward passage to the president.

He said the decision to forward all the court orders was in response to the statement credited to the AGF that he was not aware of Kanu’s case and that his fate would be resolved by the court.
