A lecturer at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia, has called for the adoption of green technologies in food processing and preservation to achieve sustainable food security in the country.

The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) in collaboration with Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), have trained no fewer than 50 farmers and food processors on fruits and vegetable processing.
