The Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith, partnering with International Alert, a non-governmental organization, is set to host a landmark three-day conference focused on the rise of climate-induced security challenges in Nigeria’s northern region. 

The Executive Secretary of UN Climate Change, Simon Stiell, says a whopping 2.4 trillion dollars is needed yearly for investment in climate issues in developing countries.
