XConnect, a Somos Company and provider of world-class numbering intelligence solutions, has launched DNOCheck™ to help carriers fight robocalls and robotexts while complying with regulatory requirements.

DNOCheck is the latest addition to the XConnect RiskALERT™ product suite. It combines XConnect’s Global Number Range (GNR) and Do Not Originate (DNO) data to ensure traffic does not originate from invalid, unallocated, or unused numbers.

The solution aims to eliminate illegal robocalls and robotexts by delivering visibility into the validity of numbers, safeguarding brand reputation and customer trust, and protecting against costly fines for non-compliance. It provides accurate, up-to-date insights via download or live query to identify and block fraudulent calls and messages. By enabling real-time rejection of invalid numbers, DNOCheck helps prevent telecom fraud on known inbound-only and invalid numbers.

“Robocalling is a challenge that continues to plague the entire telecoms ecosystem and cause detrimental damage to the reputation of voice and SMS. As this type of fraud evolves, it is vital that the industry has access to complete and comprehensive anti-fraud solutions,” said Eli Katz, Founder and CEO at XConnect. “To restore trust in the telecoms industry, we must reduce robocalling and increase call answering rates to route traffic with confidence. DNOCheck provides the insights to execute on this, allowing carriers and providers to meet increasing regulatory requirements to verify the identity of calls and messages while continuing to deliver a first-class customer experience.”

DNOCheck will provide comprehensive coverage across the U.S., UK, Ireland, and Poland, delivering accurate and regularly updated information to customers. Voice and messaging DNO databases will be continuously refreshed to ensure maximum accuracy and efficiency in protecting against fraudulent use of invalid numbers.

“XConnect’s DNA is very much entwined in collaborative engagement with the industry and regulators at a global level,” Katz added. “As more regulators worldwide require mobile providers to leverage a DNO list, we are ready to meet local compliance. Our goal is to continue delivering dedicated numbering intelligence that solves real-world issues while collaborating with regulators and providers to mitigate telecoms fraud.”

The launch of DNOCheck follows the recent releases of IRSFCheck™ and AITCheck™ within XConnect’s RiskALERT™ portfolio. These solutions combine XConnect’s Number Information services with the GSMA’s IRSF Prevention to protect enterprises, mobile operators, and CPaaS providers against fraud-related losses, achieving over 90% detection rates in confirmed fraud cases.
