In a move to empower African businesses with affordable and compliant cloud infrastructure, CloudVantage has launched an indigenous cloud-automation computing company in Nigeria.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Muhideen Ashiru, announced this in a statement on Monday in Lagos, describing the inauguration as a pivotal moment for developers, tech engineers, and businesses across Africa.
Ashiru said the CloudVantage platform was designed to tackle key challenges in cloud adoption, including time management, complex onboarding, manual server configuration, cost control, and security.
“For too long, Nigerian and African businesses — including government institutions — have sought affordable, local cloud-automation solutions with a simple, reliable, pay-as-you-go model,” Ashiru stated.
“CloudVantage is here to deliver those dependable solutions. We’re not just offering cloud services; we’re providing an automated digital advantage. Our platform eliminates hidden charges, making scalable, secure, and smart cloud technology accessible right here at home.”
According to him, the CloudVantage platform is built on intelligent automation that directly addresses modern cloud adoption challenges, including automated cost optimisation, security, and provisioning.

“Our tools monitor, analyse, and automatically adjust cloud resources to prevent unexpected, budget-draining costs common in traditional pay-as-you-go services,” he explained.
“We also offer built-in features for automated security checks and real-time monitoring, eliminating the risks of cloud misconfiguration and potential data exposure. Additionally, our automated provisioning enables instant, self-service deployment of Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), reducing deployment time and minimising human error.”
Ashiru added that CloudVantage provides a full suite of foundational cloud services, giving businesses the tools needed to build, deploy, and scale modern applications securely and efficiently.
He listed the offerings to include core computing and networking, storage and resilience solutions, as well as managed services such as Database as a Service (DBaaS).
Ashiru emphasised that by adopting world-class technologies and introducing innovative delivery models, CloudVantage is playing a vital role in redefining cloud business operations in Nigeria and across Africa.
