The National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi, has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to partnering with the Niger State Government to promote socio-economic development and enhance livelihoods across the state.
Hon. Jabiru made this known during a courtesy visit to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago at the Government House, Minna, where he led a delegation comprising management staff and aides of the agency.
He commended Governor Bago for his visionary leadership and ongoing developmental initiatives, noting that AUDA-NEPAD looks forward to deepening collaboration with the state in key sectors such as agriculture, governance, and youth empowerment.
The AUDA-NEPAD chief executive further announced that Niger State has been approved to host the agency’s North Central Zonal Office. According to him, the new office will strengthen regional coordination and enhance the implementation of AUDA-NEPAD’s programmes across the zone.
In his response, Governor Bago expressed readiness to work closely with AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, pledging full support for its initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable and inclusive growth in Niger State and beyond.
