ASHENEWS reports that the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, widely known as the “Farmer Governor,” has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Chairman of the Niger State Council, of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Abu Nmodu, and other officials on their re-election to lead the Union for the next three years.
In a congratulatory message conveyed through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago praised the re-election of Comrade Nmodu and his team, stating that it reflects the exceptional teamwork and collective vision of the executive members. He noted that this unity and shared purpose are essential for the continued growth and development of the Union.
The Governor observed that the NUJ Niger State Council has experienced unprecedented progress and development during the first tenure of Comrade Nmodu’s leadership. He commended the outgoing administration for its achievements and urged the re-elected officials to build on this foundation.

Governor Bago encouraged the Chairman and other officials to intensify their efforts in serving the Union’s members, aiming to consolidate the gains made so far.
