INEC declares APC winner of guber poll in Sokoto [SEE RESULTS]

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto as winner of the election.

He polled 453,001 votes to defeat his closest opponent and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Saidu Ubandoma, who polled 404,154, a difference of 48,847 votes.
