A 2023 governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has expressed optimism about the future of Nigeria, and particularly Lagos.
After meeting with the National Secretary of the opposition coalition’s African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola, Rhodes-Vivour said it is possible to achieve a Nigeria and a Lagos that work for everyone.

Posting on his X account on Tuesday, he wrote: “Had a great meeting earlier today with Engr. Rauf Aregbesola. The mission is clear and the commitment unwavering.”
He added, “A new Nigeria, and a Lagos that works for everyone is possible.”
