ASHENEWS reports that the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has launched a new website, the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination of the Centers has announced. The new website is: https://www.cdc.gov/?ACSTrackingID=USCDC_18_1-DM128638&ACSTrackingLabel=CDC%20launches%20new%20website%20&deliveryName=USCDC_18_1-DM128638. According to the statement, the “CDC launched a new website as part of an agency-wide effort to modernize and transform its digital communication. “In the process, we have streamlined our previous web content, updated navigation, and designed a new look and feel. “For many partners, there may be questions regarding changing URLs, content syndication, and finding archived content on the new site: URLs: All URLs have changed or will change throughout the remainder of 2024. However, most links will continue to work and smart redirects will automatically direct you from any previous links to corresponding new pages. Syndication: Syndicated pages will continue to work on the new CDC.gov. You will still be able to syndicate any current URL, but content on that page may have changed. We encourage you to review any syndicated pages to ensure the content you are syndicating from the updated page still meets your content needs. Archived Content: There are three options to see previous content from the old site. Visit archive.cdc.gov for a searchable site of key documents (available indefinitely) or visit snapshot.cdc.gov to see CDC.gov exactly as it was before the new site launched (available for 6 months). Many PDFs, powerpoint slide sets, and other files have been archived on CDC Stacks. As part of this initiative, the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination has several new updated websites included in this initial launch of the new site: Tuberculosis TB Prevention in Health Care Settings Information for TB Programs We will continue to move TB content into the new website over the next several months. The center will hold a webinar for partners this Friday, May 17th at 1pm ET to share additional information about the new site.
