A Non-Governmental Organization, Queen’s Choice Foundation has provided free medical services and food supplies to hundreds of vulnerable residents in the Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State.
The outreach, held at Okada Road, was specifically timed to support families during the Ramadan and Lenten seasons.
Volunteers and healthcare professionals attended to a large crowd of men, women, and children, offering essential services at no cost.
The initiative offered a wide range of clinical services, including, medical consultations and malaria testing, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, distribution of essential medications and provision of food items and clean drinking water.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Queen’s Choice Foundation, Mirabel Gloria Oyakhire, emphasized that the mission was rooted in proactive healthcare.
“Many families face significant barriers to quality healthcare and nutrition,” Oyakhire said. “Through this outreach, we are prioritizing early detection. Many residents are unaware they have high blood pressure or blood sugar issues until it is too late. We are here to provide treatment and create vital awareness.”
The intervention drew a massive turnout from the local community, with many beneficiaries describing the program as a lifeline during a challenging economic period.

Aisha Mohammed, a local resident, shared her experience, “I came for a malaria test, but they also checked my blood pressure and gave me free medicine. This support means a lot to my family right now.”
Another beneficiary, Musa Abdullahi, lauded the foundation for the food distribution, noting that the provisions would significantly help his household during the fasting period.
The Queen’s Choice Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to uplifting vulnerable groups across the state.
Oyakhire assured residents that the Bosso outreach is part of a broader commitment to sustaining humanitarian initiatives and promoting community well-being throughout Nigeria.
