The management of Specialist Hospital Sokoto has banned tricycle operators from entering the hospital with immediate effect.
The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Bello Tambuwal, gave the order in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Haruna Daniya.
According to the statement, the measure is aimed at ensuring free vehicular movement, especially in emergency cases.
Tambuwal added that the ban will address problems of reckless driving and unnecessary parking, which cause congestion in the hospital.
It said the idea was part of an effort by the management to ensure effective service delivery in the hospital.
He challenged all staff of the hospital to remain punctual in the discharge of their various assigned responsibilities.
