Bandits on Saturday, blocked the Kontagora-Minna Road in Niger state, making travellers stranded.
As a result of the blockade, which reportedly lasted for one hour, many vehicles and travellers were stranded around Yakila and Garun Gabas villages near Kundu in Rafi local government area of the state.
ASHENEWS gathers that although some of the travellers fled into nearby villages for fear of being kidnapped, the bandits reportedly abducted an undisclosed number of persons.
