President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Aliko Dangote, Africa’s foremost industrialist, on his 69th birthday, applauding his contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth.
Tinubu described Dangote as Africa’s leading industrialist whose investments have significantly advanced Nigeria’s industrialization and economic development.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, on Friday in Abuja.
The president commended Dangote’s entrepreneurial vision, resilience, and innovation, noting that his ventures have transformed key sectors of the economy.
He highlighted the establishment of the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company, as well as cement factories across Africa, as milestones in positioning Nigeria as a major industrial hub.
Tinubu said Dangote’s conglomerate has played a vital role in job creation, infrastructure development, and strengthening confidence in the Nigerian economy.
“I salute Aliko for his conglomerate’s role in job creation, infrastructure development, and unwavering belief in the Nigerian economy and its potential.
“Dangote remains a shining example of African enterprise, whose achievements continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs across the continent,” he said.
The president also praised the industrialist’s philanthropic efforts through the Dangote Foundation, particularly in health, education, and poverty alleviation.
He noted that the foundation’s interventions have positively impacted millions of lives across Nigeria and beyond.
Tinubu prayed for Dangote’s continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to Nigeria, Africa, and humanity.
