Senators Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and Jarigbe Jarigbe all of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have lost the battle to become minority principal officers of the Senate.
The development followed Tuesday’s announcement by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio of the names of majority and minority leadership of the 10th Senate, on Tuesday.
They are as follows:
- Opeyemi Bamidele, Senate Majority Leader
2. David Umahi, Deputy Majority Leader
3. Mohammed Ali Ndume, Senate Majority Whip
4. Lola Ashiru, Deputy Majority Whip
In the same vein, Minority Leadership of the 10th Senate was announced as follows:
- Simon Mwadkon, Senate Minority Leader
2. Oyewumi Olalere, Senate Deputy Minority Leader
3. Darlington Nwokocha, Senate Minority Whip
4. Rufai Hanga, Senate Deputy Minority Whip
