Sokoto state government says it will spend N2.4 billion to purchase houses that will serve as its liaison office in Kaduna as we as provide rural electrification for some rural areas in the state.
The state Commissioner of Information, Isah Galadanci who briefed journalists on the outcome of the meeting presided by Governor Aminu Tambuwal, also said the council has approved the review of the law on revenue integration in the state.
He said that while the liaison office located at Alkali road in Kaduna metropolis, which will include four houses, will be acquired at the sum of N2.1 billion, N99.7 million will be spent on electrification of Alkammu village in Wurno local government area of the state.
According to him, the remaining N192 million will be spent on the electrification of Bakaya-Romon Sarki- Romon Liman villages in Tambuwal local government area of the state.
