The Adamawa Senator Grace Jackson Bent, has congratulated Nuhu Ribadu on his appointment as the Special Adviser on Security to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
She also described him as an excellent choice at this critical time that the nation is facing multiple security crises.
The former Senator from Adamawa state said Ribadu’s choice is a great idea that will serve the interest of this nation in no small measure.
Bent, an All Progressives Congress, APC, critical stakeholder, and a nationalist said President Ahmed Bola Tinubu thought on Nuhu is another wisdom forbthe administration to prevail on the incessant insecurity challenges bedeviling the nation.
The Senator who represented the Adamawa Southern senatorial zone during the 6th Senate welcomes the appointment of Nuhu as someone who is a round peg in a round hole, that will help weather the storm of Boko Haram, ISWAP, Bandits, and all manner of insecurities existing in the country, and dangerously our nation in bad light across the International Community.
While congratulating the Former Economy and Financial crimes commission pioneer (EFCC), Grace extolled the threats of leadership in him that used the office of EFCC to revive Nigeria’s economy and the country’s corporate image in the eyes of the international community.
She said Nuhu’s leadership vibes while an EFCC Boss drastically reduced Nigeria from the corruption index list and gave the country a new name.
Bent appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for being magnanimous to the people of Adamawa and reiterated her confidence that Nuhu will work well for nation-building, especially in the area of security.
Senator Bent in a statement made available to this medium further called on the new Special Security Adviser to increase the tempo of a sound and smart senior police officer that he is.
She said Nigeria is a complex nation with diverse problems that Nuhu as an astute Leader whose wealth of experience is good enough to give counsel to weather all sorts of insecurities, should not relent in working hard to help in salvaging the nation from insecurity decay.
