The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) will hold “a very crucial meeting where pressing national concerns will be discussed” on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
In an invitation to the first meeting in 2022, issued by the Director General of the Forum, Asishana Okauru on Saturday, the governors are expected to attended physically, to discuss “matters arising”.
A statement by the Head of Media and Public Affairs at the NGF, Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo made available to newsmen, said the meeting will also deliberate on the Forum’s intervention programmes.
“Members will receive updates from the Nigeria Governors’ Forum’s SFTAS team and another on CARES, as well as a few presentations.”
According to the statement, the meeting will commence at 8pm at the end of which all the governors, led by the NGF chairman, Fayemi, will address a press conference.
