ASHENEWS reports that the outgoing Niger state commissioner of police AIG Ogundele Joshua Ayodeji on Friday decorated 312 newly promoted officers in Niger State Police Command.
The officers decorated included two assistant commissioners of police,6 CSPs, 4 SPs, and 300 DSPs, sequel to the recent promotion released by the Police Service Commission
Speaking during the ceremony, AIG Ogundele who was assisted during the decoration by DCP Aminu M. Garba and other senior officers of the Command charged the newly promoted officers to abide strictly by the ethics of the profession.
The AIG who congratulated the beneficiaries on their promotion noted that the promotion is for all personnel of the Command, as the beneficiaries were promoted, others will also move up on the nominal roll.
He informed the promoted officers that the higher the rank, the higher the responsibilities would be, he encouraged them to live up to expectations and redouble their efforts to justify the promotion.

Speaking on behalf of the promotees, ACP Aliyu Akande, appreciated the Police Service Commission, the IGP, and the Niger State Police Command, most especially AIG Ogundele for his mentoring, leadership, and guidance in the line of duty.
