Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger has announced minor cabinet reshuffle, dropping the commissioner for works, Ibrahim Panti in the process.
A statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Mary Noel-Berje on Wednesday said the Commissioner for Works, Panti was directed to hand over to the Commissioner for Planning, Mamman Musa, with immediate effect.
He also directed the Commissioner of Finance, Zakari Abubakar to oversee the Ministry of Planning in addition to the finance ministry.
Although the governor did not post Panti to any ministry, ASHENEWS gathered that he had been sacked.
