Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago has inaugurated a committee to oversee the implementation of food systems transformation pathways in the state.
The inauguration took place during the State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House, Minna.
The governor, who charged the committee to work with commitment and diligence, pledged his full support to ensure its success.
This online platform reports that the committee is chaired by the Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mustapha Ndajiwo, while the Permanent Secretary of Planning, Aishatu Usman, will serve as Secretary.
Members of the committee include commissioners from key ministries such as Agriculture; Livestock; Nomadic Affairs; Finance; Basic and Secondary Education; Water Resources; Primary Healthcare; Women Affairs; and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
