Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Niger state on Sunday, passed vote-of-confidence on all the state party officials elected at 2018 congress.
The occasion was an expanded and critical stakeholders meeting held at Aloe Vera Hotel during the weekend in Minna.
Members also resolved to uphold party supremacy, the reconciliation of aggrieved party executives and the National caretaker committee of the party to ensure constant stakeholder meetings at all levels as well as fairness and equity in political appointment in the state.
Earlier, the state Chairman, Engr. Mohammad Imam said there were moves by some people to get rid of him in order to achieve their selfish ambitions for 2023, a move he said, was not achievable.

“The plan by some people is to ensure they do away with me to actualize their dreams of 2023 ambition but now, they are sure to realise that they cannot do away with me,” he said.

The Chairman said that he had never been found over the allegations levelled against him, neither was he ever served with any petition.
Hr however, apologized to members for some of identified mistakes, insisting that “the internal crisis within the party was as a result of desperation on the part of some members of the party.”
He disclosed that the moves were being made to reconcile aggrieved members and make the party united once again.
