The 2024 budgetary allocation to the National Assembly (NASS) exceeds the allocation to seven federal universities, eight teaching hospitals and 15 federal polytechnics.

According to information from the Budget Office, the 2024 budget of the National Assembly stands at ₦197.93 billion.

However, the total budgets of seven Universities is ₦196.4 billion broken down as follows:

1. UNN: ₦36.6bn
2. UNICAL: ₦29.5bn
3. ABU: ₦29.2bn
4. UNIZIK: ₦26.3bn
5. NDA: ₦26.9bn
6. UNIBEN: ₦24.2bn
7. UI: ₦23.8bn
   • So also, the budgets of eight Teaching Hospitals is ₦170.3bn s¹
   • 1. NAUTH, Nnewi: ₦37.6bn
   • 2. UCH, Ibadan: ₦27.2bn
   • 3. UNTH, Enugu: ₦25.6bn
   • 4. UUTH, Uyo: ₦20.6bn
   • 5. AKUTH, Kano: ₦20.5bn
   • 6. OAUTH, Ife: ₦19.9bn
   • 7. UPTH, PortHarcourt: ₦19.8bn
   • 8. UBTH, Benin: ₦19.6bn

Simarly, the budget of 15 Federal Polytechnics is ₦118.02 with breakdown as follows:
