ASHENEWS reports that the National Agency of Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has apprehended a fake cosmetic producer identified as Pius Effiong Eyoh.
Eyoh was apprehended for manufacturing, packaging, distributing, and selling a range of substandard and counterfeit cosmetic products.
This is coming barely 24 hours after the Agency seized N50 million counterfeit products from supermarkets and markets in Abuja.
Eyoh is the owner of Pasco Global Limited which is located in the Trade Fair Complex in Lagos state. The organization produces cosmetics like like Skin Balance Perfect Knuckle Organic Peel Therapy and Golden Face Triple Action Concentrated Perfect Skin.

The Agency on its X handle disclosed that Eyoh was caught in the act of processing and packaging these cosmetic products with false labels bearing French inscriptions when the NAFDAC Investigation and Enforcement Directorate visited the factory.
The Agency sealed the illegal manufacturing factory and arrested Eyoh. The fake products have been scheduled for destruction.
