Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state has approved the release of N4.8 million to 190 Kebbi state candidates who are due to attend the recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Air Force at Mando, Kaduna.
A circular signed by the Secretary to the Kebbi State Government, Babale Umar-Yauri, and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, on Friday, stated that the sum of N20,000 was approved for each of the candidates.
“Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has affirmed his commitment to reducing unemployment among the youths, as well as the need to adequately fill the state’s quota in all recruitments into various military and paramilitary outfits in the country.
“The money released will cover other expenses by the candidates in the course of participating in the,” the circular said.
It listed the categories of the beneficiary candidates to include; holders of National Diploma (ND), National Certificate in Education (NCE), Senior Secondary School Certificate of Education (SSCE) and those with trade certificates.
