…As burial holds in Numan May 5

The Masters Students of the Centre of Peace and Security Studies of the Modibbo Adama University Yola, have mourned the death of Mr. Kilyofas Atama, an Assistant Controller of Correctional Service (Prison) serving in Jalingo, Taraba State.
The students, who are a class of the 2018/2019 academic calendar, in a press statement by their Chairman, Abbas Kiri, paid tribute to the Late Atama who will be remembered to have lived a good life and left a good reputation, and integrity records while discharging his official duties and as a student of the center graduated with a clean record.
Atama, a senior officer with Correctional Service (Prison) whose death occurred after a protracted illness in Abuja the students mourned to have missed a jovial, friendly, and brilliant colleague.
The student while describing him as a gentle and kind-hearted Man, eulogized him to have accomplished many good things in life.
“You worked hard academically and other life endeavors and stand out better among your pairs. You always followed the path of truth and honesty and your life indeed is worthy of emulation.
“Atama, Your death came as a shock to us, with teardrops running down our faces, we bid you farewell. It is painful to mention the word “goodbye” ahead of our convocation which comes up on 13th, May, 2023 where we were expecting you to grace us with your jokes and comedy lifestyle.
“God who called you knows it better and why it is now. We all missed you. But our solace is in God. It is hard to believe that we are saying goodbye to you as we part to meet again where we can never part anymore. May your soul rest in peace.” The statement read
The burial of Late Atama will hold on Friday, 5th May as announced by the family members in Numan, Numan Local Government Adamawa State.
