ASHENEWS reports that the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has lauded the management of Parliament College of Health Science and Technology, Yauri, for providing an enabling environment to train medical laboratory technicians.
Speaking while addressing the board and management of the College in Yauri, the registrar of the Board and team leader of the reaccreditation team, Dr. Tosan Erhabour said that the college has provided adequate manpower and equipment for the training of medical laboratory technicians in the college.
On his part, the chairman of the College’s Governing Board, Abdullahi Yelwa, pledged to maintain the high standard of learning, training and research in the College.
Yelwa commended the MLSCN Board for its untiring efforts to sanitize medical laboratory science education in the country.
This online platform gathered that the College was granted permission by the MLSCN board to commence training of Medical Laboratory technicians on 17th March 2020, following an accreditation visit.
The College, registered by the Kebbi State Ministry of Health and Ministry of Higher Education had in the 2022 National Examination of the Board scored 100 percent pass.
Parliament College has also been accredited by National Board for Technical Education, NBTE; the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria, CHPRBN; West African Examinations Board, WAHEB, and the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, MLSCN.
