ASHENEWS reports that the Kebbi state government has pledged to support the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) and Kaduna Electric in a bid to restore power supply in the state.
The state deputy governor, Umar Abubakar stated this when he received the Management Team of Kaduna Electric led by the managing director, Engr. Yusuf Yahaya who paid him a sympathy visit in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.
He commended Kaduna Electric and TCN for their quick response to the ugly incident while assuring them of the state government’s necessary support to enhance their effort.
Earlier in his remarks, the Managing Director of Kaduna Electric, Engr. Yahaya said they were in the state to commiserate with the people and government of Kebbi State over the unfortunate event.
He further said that, Kaduna Electric and TCN are working day and night in order to restore the power within a shortest possible.
