A delegate in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary, Mr Tanko Rossi Sabo, has shared N7 million he got with members of his community, The Nation has reported.
Sabo, from Sanga local government area of Kaduna State, spent the money on the less privileged in his community, according to a former Special Assistant Media to late Governor Yakubu Yakowa, Reuben Buhari.
“He bought jerseys, paid school fees and hospital fees. He distributed the rest to other support groups.
“Whatever is the argument on whether he was right in collecting the money or not, my consolation is that hundreds of the less privileged in his community are smiling today. For that, I say well done Tanko,” Buhari said.
Sabo was one of Kaduna delegates at the PDP presidential primary that produced former Vice President Atiku Abubakar emerged as candidate of the party.
