The National Universities Commission (NUC) says only 25 universities in the country have full accreditation of there courses.
In its “2021 Nigeria University system rankings” dated December 11, 2021, the commission said that less than 70 per cent of courses offered by the other ivory towers were accredited.
According to the ranking, the 25 universities with full accreditation include Federal University Kashere, Gombe State; Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano State; Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil and 22 others.
According to the commission, none of the 113 universities has full complement of professors.
The ranking also rated the University of Ibadan (UI) as the country’s best with 454.56 points.
