Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has sent his felicitations to Akwa Ibom women as they mark this year’s ‘Mothering Sunday.’
In a message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno commended the women for being “the tie that holds down the family unit, nurturing, molding and shaping our children to walk the path of morality, character and purpose.”
“Today, as the world celebrates you, on behalf of the Government and people of our dear State, I send my hearty and deep-seated appreciation to you all.
“To the widows and others who may be the family’s breadwinners, as the Liverpool Football Club theme song goes, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’
“Indeed, you won’t walk alone. We will continue to prioritize your welfare.
“Happy Mothering Sunday to you all, once again!”
