ASHENEWS reports that Garba Bangagiya, the District Head of Kuta, headquarters of Shiroro local government in Niger state has died.
He died on Friday at the age of 105.
He is survived with a wife, 23 children, and many great grandchildren.
Among his children are Audu Garba, the Village Head of Wonu; Saidu Garba, the Village Head of Pokozhiyi; Sale Garba Bangagiya, the Village Head of Tawo; Uba Garba, the Village Head of Kuji; Mohammed Garba Magaji, a Director of Planning, Research and Statistic with Niger state Ministry of Sports Development, and Saleh Garba, a staff with the Magistrate Court Kuta.
He is expected to be buried by 10:00 am in Kuta, Shiroro local government.
Bangagiya was appointed as the District Head of Kuta in 1990.
