The Federal Government has reaffirmed the Dangote Group’s pivotal role in Nigeria’s industrialization drive as the company takes center stage at the ongoing Kaduna International Trade Fair.
Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Dafang I. Sule, who represented President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, commended the company for its contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth, stating that it is “doing an excellent job.”
Dangote Group is one of the sponsors of the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair, which the president declared open on Saturday.
The Federal Government’s commendation follows global recognition of the company’s impact across various sectors. Dr. Sule also highlighted the ministry’s collaboration with Dangote Group to drive government policies and programs, including the Backward Integration Programme.
“The quality of Dangote products is not in doubt, and that is why people patronize them. You can see that the company is growing every day. I think it is doing a very good job,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) has acknowledged its partnership with Dangote Group, describing it as a key competitive advantage of the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair.
Speaking to journalists in Kaduna, KADCCIMA Director General, Usman Saulawa, praised the Dangote Group as a conglomerate driving Nigeria’s economy.
According to him, the company has made a significant impact on the business community in Kaduna State and has contributed immensely to the growth of both the Nigerian and global economies.
He noted that no fewer than five countries are participating in this year’s fair, themed “Promoting Efficiency in Manufacturing, Trade, and Agriculture through Digital Transformation.”
“Our unique selling point is the strong collaboration and full involvement of the Kaduna State Government, Dangote Group, and other companies,” he said.
Saulawa also commended the longstanding partnership between KADCCIMA and the Dangote Group, describing Aliko Dangote, the Group’s President, as a steadfast benefactor of the Chamber.
Through consistent sponsorship and participation in its Strategic Business Units, the Dangote Group has continued to support economic development in Kaduna State and beyond.
