The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Usman Baba has approved the promotion of 21,039 police officers.
The officers include those on the ranks of inspectors and rank and file in his office at Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The IGP in a terse statement by the acting spokesperson of the Force Headquarters, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi Wednesday evening, congratulated the affected officers.
He also urged them to put in more efforts at policing Federal Republic of Nigeria.
