Boat mishap: Nma Kolo consoles Niger govt, families of victims

ASHENEWS reports that the Jawon Minna, Mohammed Nma Kolo has consoled the Niger state government, and families of victims of the recent boat mishap that claimed several lives.

The incident, which occurred between Jebba and Kainji Dam in the Mokwa Local Government Area of the state, left many families heartbroken.

In the message, Nma Kolo expressed deep sadness over the tragic event and offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and friends of the victims, praying for their fortitude to bear the loss.

Furthermore, he commended the state government’s prompt response in providing aid and support to the affected families. He urged the government to continue in its efforts to ensure that such tragedies do not occur in the future.

“I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the people affected by the boat mishap that took place in Niger State, Nigeria. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims who lost their lives and those who are still missing. I would like to console the Niger State Government and commend them for taking swift action to ensure the safety and well-being of the affected communities.

“I am especially comforted by the fact that the Niger State Government has set up a committee to investigate the cause of the boat mishap. This is a significant step in preventing future tragedies from happening, and it shows the government’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens.

“This unfortunate incident is a reminder that we must always be vigilant and take proactive measures to avoid such catastrophic events. I urge the Niger State Government to continue to prioritize the safety and welfare of its citizens and to take all necessary steps to prevent such tragedies from happening again.

“Lastly, I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the boat mishap, and I pray that they find comfort and strength during this difficult time,” Nma Kolo said.
