Popular TV host, and BBNaija anchor, Mr Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has described the ban by the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Muhammad Adamu of the personnel of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS as “press release without action”.
The IGP in a statement by the Spokesperson of the Force Headquarters, Frank Mba on Sunday, banned FSARS from further patrol and stop-search duties with immediate effect.
However, Ebuka through his Twitter handle @Ebuka prayed that the press release is put to action.
“Press releases without any action are way too common. We’ve been here before. #EndSARS
“Better not be like the constant ban on roadblocks that keep resurfacing,” he tweeted.
