The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu on Monday, held emergency meeting with some party’s governors shortly after vice president Yemi Osibanjo also declared for the 2023 presidential race.
The meeting which held at Kebbi Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja was attended by Kebbi state governor Atiku Bagudu and his Jigawa, Osun, Lagos, Plateau and Kaduna counterparts Abubakar Baduru, Gboyega Oyetola, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Simon Lalong and Nasir el-Rufai.
Osinbajo not my son
Asked shortly after his meeting with the governors by journalists to comment on Osinbajo’s declaration earlier on Monday, Tinubu said, “I don’t have any son grown up enough to make such declaration.”
He, however, said his meeting with state Governors on the platform of the party was to seek collaboration, support and encouragement concerning his 2023 presidential ambition.
