An Adamawa lawmaker in the 7th Assembly, who represented Vere constituency in the state Assembly, Abdullahi Umar Yapak, has said that the people of the state will support Nuhu Ribadu to succeed as the Special Adviser on Security to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Yapak said Nuhu is a thorough-bred law enforcement expert and has vast knowledge, experience, and wherewithal ability to do well in his new office as the security adviser appointed by Tinubu
Yapak congratulated Ribadu and said is happy for making it to the constitutional mandate office to serve Nigeria.
Recall the president had on Thursday approved the appointment of Ribadu and others as special advisers. Yapak who is a nonserving member while thanked Tinubu for the appointment and commended him for appointing competent individuals who have the experience and passion for the country.
Yapak stated that Ribadu having been a former and pioneer Chairman of the Economy and commercial crimes commission, EFCC, said is the right person for the job while expressing confidence that his wealth of experience in the anti-graft fighting Job will make him a strategic security adviser to the president.
Je enjoined Nuhu to judiciously use his office and help the president with ideas and strategies to project, protect and defend the country in good light.
“Your appointment has shown that you are a loyal and dependent ally that knows his job well.
“I, therefore, employ you to use your experience and expertise to proffer achievable and effective solutions in projecting Nigeria’s corporate image in good light, especially in the area of security. I am confident that you will deliver,” Yapak said.
Yapak called on all and sundry to support the Tinubu administration which he described as a beacon of hope for a new Nigeria.
Giving assurance that all Adamawa Sons and Daughters will support the new Security adviser to succeed on the job because is a proud illustrious son of the state
