2️⃣ Cutting
- Manual: Use sickles or knives; cut plants close to the ground and lay them neatly on tarpaulins or mats. This is usual practice for small scale rice farms.

3️⃣ Bundling and handling
- Bundle cut rice plants in small sheaves for easy handling.
