Sokoto state government has issued warning against impending flood in some towns and villages of some local government areas of the state.
The Director General of the state Agricultural Development Project, SADP, Mr Abubakar Malami in a post on his Facebook page on Monday, said flood was likely to occur in the areas between July 23 and 27.
“The following locations and their environs are likely to experience flood within the period of prediction: 23RD – 27TH July 2021.
“The towns include Gada, Goronyo, Isa, Makira, Shagari, Silame, Sokoto, Wamakko,” Malami stated.
