The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has released four telephone numbers for residents to report uncleared refuse for prompt action.
Mr Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
He listed the numbers as 08038643087, 07011073406, 07011255710, and 09114843425, and urged members of the public to send pictures and videos of uncleared refuse via WhatsApp.
“Tell us where you see uncleared refuse; take pictures or record videos and include the location,” Olayinka said.

He explained that specifying the location helps identify the contractors responsible for waste collection in those areas.
Olayinka said the initiative aims to tackle the growing waste problem in the FCT by ensuring that waste management contractors perform their duties on time, contributing to a cleaner Abuja.
