ASHENEWS reports that the National Association of Gbako Local Government Students (NAGLOGS) has distributed 1,500 exercise books to primary and secondary school students across the local government area.

The President of the Association, Comrade Mohammed Saganuwa, stated that the purpose of the distribution is to encourage and support students at the grassroots level.
“By supporting them with what little we can, we hope they will take their education seriously,” he said.
Emphasizing the importance of education, he urged parents, elites, and stakeholders to continue supporting and encouraging their children by ensuring they attend school. He also stressed the need for learning materials to be provided to make education conducive for the future leaders.
The distribution took place at the Local Government Town Hall in Lemu, during the Association’s inaugural students’ summit and public lecture.
The schools that benefited are Model Primary School, Lemu; Government Secondary School, Lemu; Wasagi Primary School; Day Secondary School, Mantafien; and Saganuwa Pachi Primary School.
The President expressed appreciation for the state government’s efforts in the education sector appealing to the governor to continue placing emphasis on education.
